Which stone for which chakra?
For some time now, our obsession with the stars, the moon and lithotherapy has been growing as we learn more about the subject. A good spiritual side mixed with a hint of magic that pushes us today to want to recharge our chakras. But how do we go about it?
Our daily lives are full of changes, upheavals and daily mishaps... So many little disasters that can accumulate tension, stress, anger or fatigue in our bodies. And as we know, there is only one step between the body and the mind.
Our energy is far from being inexhaustible, so it is necessary to find a way to recharge it. This is where the chakras come into play. "Chakra"? Is that a word you've heard before but have no idea what it means? Open your ears, Morgane Jorge, founder of the lithotherapy brand Stones Club, explains to us step by step how to understand this particular science.
WHAT IS A CHAKRA?
Literally, "chakra" means "the wheel" in Sanskrit, a language of the Indian continent. But in our body, the chakras represent the 7 main passage points of energy. Morgane Jorge explains: "This energy circulates permanently through these 7 portals which are located from the bottom of the spine, to the top of our skull. Each chakra is directly connected to a part of the body and to an organ. When the chakras are functioning in harmony, energy flows freely and usually results in good physical, mental and emotional health. "
It is then necessary to listen carefully to oneself, to monitor one's desires, one's needs, but also what is wrong. Indeed, an unbalanced chakra can have repercussions on our entire morale. When an individual feels a blockage," says Morgane Jorge, "it can be linked to an unbalanced chakra (too active or on the contrary under active). Being interested in the functioning of the chakras is a good way to identify our blockages on the physical and emotional levels and to understand the causes in order to free ourselves from them. "
STONES AND CRYSTALS TO HARMONIZE YOUR CHAKRAS
Don't panic if you feel that one of your chakras is in bad shape. It is always possible to put it back on its feet. On the contrary, this imbalance will be an opportunity to take a moment for yourself and relax. "Lithotherapy uses the energy of stones and crystals to help us restore the balance between body and mind. In the same way that the chakras focus on an energetic imbalance, the stones allow us to identify our blockages and to free ourselves from them", Morgane Jorge explains.
The stones will then have an impact on our well-being and our emotions as well as on our skills and abilities. They will also have a protective role on the wearer. It is therefore essential to be able to use them when our chakras are unbalanced.
But how to choose the right stone for the corresponding chakra? "Each chakra being dominated by a color, we will associate the same color of stone", reminds us the founder of Stones Club.
HOW TO DO A CHAKRA HARMONIZATION SESSION?
It is a moment of relaxation and absolute well-being. A chakra recharging session cannot be done anytime and anywhere. It is important to feel well, to feel ready. Before each session, it is important to clean your stones by passing them under water, then in salt if you wish. To recharge them, they must be placed in the sun or in the light of the moon on full moon nights. They will then be full of energy to bring us their support. Then, it is often advisable to purify the place where we are going to practice the chakra harmonization session with the help of a sage stick (that we can make ourselves) that we will burn. To begin, we will settle on a flat surface, as close to the ground as possible. We will cut off our phone and all other distractions to become one with this special moment.
"It is by placing the stones on the different energy centers of the body that their properties will be able to come into action, reveals Morgane Jorge. To do this, in a lying position, place the stones from the root chakra (see below) to the coronal chakra on each energy center (one stone per center, depending on its color). Lie in this position for 30 minutes, ideally while breathing calmly. It is possible to do visualization exercises, such as visualizing the color of each chakra for a few minutes. This session can be done as often as one feels the need or once or twice a month. "
